The Deconstructed Chandelier, designed by Thabisa Mjo of Mash T Design Studio, adds a refined and layered touch to any interior. With its handmade construction and long chain suspending it from the circular canopy, the chandelier features downward-facing lighting under a series of stacked shades with natural materials and vertical striations. The shades effectively block light to the sides, creating a warm, glowing ambiance below the fixture.
This award-winning piece was the winner of the 2015 Nando’s Hot Young Designer Talent Search, and showcases Thabisa Mjo's collaboration with local crafters to create sustainable and traditional African-inspired designs.
