The Tekura Rings Stool, a timeless masterpiece by TEKURA, pays homage to the regal legacy of Akan tribes. This stool stands as a living tribute to the rich history of royal seating, drawing inspiration from the ancient stools crafted for Ghana’s Akan royals. As one of TEKURA’s oldest designs, the stool seamlessly marries the opulence of the past with a modern twist. The stool top, elegantly curved and slender, exudes a contemporary grace, while the legs, adorned with rings, evoke a sense of tradition and cultural significance. Delving into the artisanal process, skilled carvers mindfully craft each ring on the stool legs, a labour-intensive technique that requires a delicate balance of tradition and precision. Adding to its allure, the stool is available in two variations—full rings and partial rings. The full rings variant embraces a more traditional aesthetic, where the rings encompass the entirety of the stool legs. In contrast, the partial rings variant introduces a modern twist with selectively placed rings, offering a dynamic and versatile design that caters to diverse tastes and interior styles.
